www.willyoumarryme.ie was set up initially in response to a survey carried out in the US which found that 80% of women were dissatisfied in the way in which they were proposed to. This was discovered when co-founder Derry O Donnell was researching romantic proposal ideas for a friend of his. Derry discussed this problem with business colleague and friend Tom Gleeson and together they decided to create a website that would help people create original romantic marriage proposals. Their aim is to make Ireland one of the most romantic countries in the world!

The website has since expanded due to demand to include all manner of wedding related items. An ever growing number of videos provide ideas and instructions on a range of topics. Wedding service providers can easily be located on the integrated mapping feature. Articles offering advice and assistance are constantly being added and updated. And we are constantly striving to improve and add to the overall enjoyment of the site.
