Schedule the time so that it covers either sunrise or sunset. But whatever you do don't drop the ring! Rent a limousine for the evening and be inside it when they pick her up at home or from work. If she wears other rings have the magician borrow one and present the engagement ring in its place or make the box with the engagement ring mysteriously appear as the surprise ending of the last trick. At a sporting event (if you both like sports), arrange to have your message displayed on the scoreboard after halftime...Karen...Will you marry me? Have the diamond ready in a presentation box. Create a Web page with her name and picture and a photo of you on bended knee with a picture of the diamond ring, and send her the Web address. Or sit down together to surf for good holiday sites, and visit a site or two before you type in the site address. Set a date to go to the cinema, then rent ad space for your proposal the night you go. Make sure you have the diamond with you. |
